Pilot Iroshizuku Shin-Ryoku (sample)

I ordered a selection of sample ink with my mind focused on green which made Shin-Ryoku a good choice and found it was a calm, not too bold green although I haven’t purchased a 15ml bottle to date. I opted for other Pilot Iroshizuku colours not offered via the samples for everyday writing including letters.

It was good to be able to order samples alongside the notecards and Inkventory book. Everything comes packed so well with all the vials labelled clearly. I have since delved deep into Pilot’s range even though my sample colours were not the ones I have purchased. I only have a few 15ml bottles as I am working out a colour scheme to use in my pens. The poetic colour stories just added a new dimension to my selection of what I thought was just ink.

The note included was beautifully written in a deeper green but wasn’t one I could order as a sample.
