Shanghai Stationary Western Hills (sample)

This is a gentle, warm green that is well-behaved and not especially wet or dry, making it practical for a wide range of pens and nibs. It's similar to Troublemaker Hanging Rice in that the undertones are more yellow than blue, which makes for a 'warm' green ink. Hanging Rice is a good comparison ink, in fact – Western Hills is a smidge darker, but they're quite similar.

(This ink is enough of a favourite of ours that Alistair is using it as his daily driver in a Pilot Custom 74 <M> at the moment, and has displaced Hanging Rice as his previous favourite green.)
